Beyond is a small word in English language. However, it is very complex to understand in its true sense. The meaning given in dictionaries are (1) On or to the far side of, (2) farther in time span, (3)Outside the reach or possibility or understanding of.......
This is similar to the concept of infinity – indefinitely large or endless ...
For a kindergarten student who knows to count only upto 10, 100 is an infinite number – it is too large to understand. For a student of class II or III, even tens of thousands would be a manageable number where as for him, hundred thousand may be an infinite number. As we grow, the value of infinity also grows.
Or we could say that even if a person has been physiologically grown up but still he can't imagine a number above 10, in terms of mathematics, he is only a kindergarten student.
In the same way, as we grow, the outside our reach also expands – or, in another way, strictly speaking, our growth could be measured in terms of the concept of our Beyond – if our vision, concepts about our life, life of others, the environment .... do not change with time, then there is no meaning for the word GROWTH in our life. This is possible only if one could cross all the personal inhibitions which were impossed or superimpossed or possed from our experiences or observations or which were taught by others.
Here is the beauty of the word Beyond – with only six alphabets it gives us a lot to think and assimilate. If we meditate on this small word, that itself will help us to grow – every time we will understand that our concepts are changing into a better one.
So I feel that the forum which acts as a platform to discuss about the Growth should have the name Beyond. I request all my fellow beings here to share anything which may support the growth.
